Situated in the calm Seto Inland Sea, Shodoshima Island is known for its olives and somen. Just a short 10 minutes’ bus ride from the port, Angel Road is known as a “lover’s sanctuary” and “couples’ hotspot” because of the legend that an angel will descend and grant your wish if you cross the sandbar while holding hands with the one you love.

From JR Takamatsu Station, walk for about 15 minutes to Takamatsu Port. Then, take a high-speed boat from Takamatsu Port for about 35 minutes to Tonosho Port.
