Inasayama

Inasayama (Mount Inasa) is Nagasaki’s crown jewel. The shimmering night view viewed atop Inasayama is ranked among Japan's three top night views along with the views from Mount Hakodate (in Hakodate city, Hokkaido prefecture) and Mount Rokko (in Kobe city, Hyogo prefecture). As with many popular tourist mountain spots in Japan, a ropeway is available to go up Inasayama and the observation deck can be reached in under 15 minutes.

The splendid night view of Nagasaki city from Inasayama is widely known in Japanese as 1000万ドルの夜景 (Issenmandoru no yakei), translated as 10 million dollar night view.

Why not go up Inasayama to judge for yourself on this multi million dollar night view?

I have never visited Kyushu and I hope to go to Nagasaki one day to experience this unique city that was one of the very few foreign trading ports during the Edo period in ancient Japan.
