Kamogawa - Duck River

The Fat Samurai

Nov 2, 2017

Kamogawa or "Duck River" , is an 31km long river in Kyoto runs through the center to south of Kyoto which kind of divide southern Kyoto. In Autumn , water levels are relatively low with stepping stones and rocks. Along the side of the rivers you may find some cafes and restaurants, which of course , offers the river view as part of the dining experience. Highly recommended for folks who like an easy stroll along the river. Expect to see some autumn foliage during autumn and also a great place for sakura during spring.
