Kegon Falls is located near Chuzenji Lake in Nikko. You take a bus from the Nikko Station bus terminal and once you get here, you take a lift down to the floor of the waterfall base. Yes, you take a lift down to see a waterfall. It is quite a sight in winter, when I visited. I stayed there for a good hour just admiring the view, even though it was dreadfully cold that winter's day.
