Kinugawa Onsen

How does a nice relaxing dip at a hot spring sound? Awesome right?

That’s exactly what this resort offers, and more! The Kinugawa Onsen (Japanese for hot spring) resort is the place to relax and enjoy. It’s situated along the Kinugawa River and is close to Tokyo.
In the area, you’ll find many different lodging options. From large hotels to quaint family-owned traditional inns, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Just remember to do your research before booking!

There are also several theme parks in the area. My favourite is Tobu World Square, a museum that exhibits highly detailed, miniaturized recreations of buildings from countries around the world. See all six! There’s modern Japan, America, Egypt, Europe, Asia, and classical Japan.

And if you're thinking twice because it seems too touristy, think again! Kinugawa Onsen is popular with Japanese locals too, especially Kanto residents, who often take day trips to the area.
