Kitatei Manyoshi Eatery

Tottori has its unique eateries, and Kitatei Manyoshi is one of them. Almost as soon as you enter, instead of navigating crowded tables and chairs...

You'll find yourself in a tranquil Japanese garden! The pebbled path gently leads you to the eatery proper. There, the homely charm extends with the shoji sliding doors; a genkan to remove your shoes at; and tatami mat flooring.

Slurping udon and munching on unagi here, we felt like we were dining at a Japanese friend's home! Kitatei Manyoshi is like a friend who'll relax and feed you well, so come by to refuel on your Tottori adventure.

Footnote: Manyoshi is a particularly convenient choice for lunch as it is within walking distance to a historical attraction, the white-walled warehouse area (last photo).
