Kumano Fireworks Festival!

10,000 fireworks beautifully coloring the World Heritage Site, The “Kumano Fireworks Festival”will be held on August 17 in Kumano City, Mie Prefecture.

Here, visitors can enjoy impressive firework displays, such as the “Kaijo Jibaku”;ignited firework balls are thrown from two ships one after another to the sea, “Onigajo Ōjikake” that launches fireworks from the Onigajo rocks and caves, the “Sanjakudama Kaijo Jibaku” that spreads 600-meter diameter across the sea, and others.

Please come and enjoy the “Kumano Fireworks Festival” with its more than 300 years of history.
