The completely authentic-looking food samples displayed at the entrance of some restaurants are unique to Japan. They were invented in order to allow first time customers to confirm visually what the restaurants have on their menu so they can feel welcomed. At “Sample RIKI”, various kinds of delicious-looking colorful food samples are displayed, and you can also experience how to make these samples. There are a lot of courses ranging from a “sweets decoration course” for making a macaron or a tart to a “parfait course” to make your own original parfait with your own selection of sauces and toppings from the various choices available. Other courses include making crispy tempura with the traditional method using wax or making lettuce with very realistic leaves. There are also some limited offer courses and special offers, attracting people of all ages. Why not give it a try?
