Matama sunset beach at Bungotakada, Kyushu

The beach is more than 180° wide without any obstructions and the setting sun is right smack in the centre. When I was there, it was low tide and the beach was rather flat with puddles reflecting the sky. The sand was kind of blackish grey and rather unusual. It was a very stunning sunset and is believed to be one of the best sunset beach in the whole of Japan.
