Mikatagoko Rainbow Line

Jun 27, 2017

If scenic views are your thing, I’ve got just the place for you.

Introducing Rainbow Line Mountain Top Park, located 400.2 meters above sea level with a 360-degree view of Mikata Goko.

In 2005, the park was registered in the Ramsar Convention, and houses flowers that bloom all year round. Being there just makes you feel rejuvenated.

There are many beautiful areas to explore, but my favorite is the rose garden.

Although you can ride a cable car up to the park from the parking lot, I recommend you hike – there’s an observatory along the way that gives you a fantastic view.

It’s a popular place for lovers and couples. In fact, many have their marriage ceremonies there!

The cable car, lift and entry fee costs a total of 800 yen for adults and 600 yen for children from age six to middle school.

Enjoy the view and have a relaxing time at the park. You’ll feel so happy after the visit, I’m sure you will want to come back!

2005年にはラムサール条約( the Ramsar Convention)にも登録され、1年を通して様々な花が咲き乱れ訪れる人を癒してくれます。
