Nikko Edo Village

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to walk among samurai and ninjas, here’s your chance!

The Edo Village is a historical theme park that will transport you to the Edo period – that’s the 17th to the 19th century!

Look around, and you’ll find samurai with their hair in trademark topknots roaming the streets. They’ll happily pose for photos if you ask; so don’t be afraid if they seem stern.

The highlight of my trip was the ninja show, where warriors fully clad in black demonstrated their impressive skills and techniques.

The village is a great place to take the family because it has activities for everyone to enjoy, like crafting shows and ninja or samurai experiences. So what are you waiting for? Visit the Edo Village!
