Sakura at Mie prefecture

From the “Sakura of Mitake ” in the Tsu city—chosen as one of the best 100 spots to see the Sakura in Japan—to the “Sakura of Iga Ueno Castle ” in the Iga city where one can enjoy the ninja houses and the castle together, Mie Prefecture is filled with many famous spots where travelers can savor the beauty of the Sakura.

Don’t forget to mention the “Yokowa Sakura” unique to Yokowa-cho of the Ise city. The vibrant color adding to the obvolute petals of these lovely flowers will surely leave a deep impression in any travelers’ heart.

The Sakura is expected to come into full bloom from late March to early April this year.
