A annual salmon run at the Sakura River in Kiyosato is certainly not to be missed by nature lovers. Start of salmon run in July, the salmon looks shining silver. It gradually turns into a cherry colour come August when the egg-laying season approaches. It finishes spawning in September and is taken over by the next generation.
