Senjogahara Marshland

The route to Senjogahara Plateau starts when you are at Yudaki Fall (Please do read my post on Lake Yuno to know more!). The water from Yudaki Fall will continue to stream down to Yukawa river. As you make your way to Senjogahara Plateau, you will be walking along the river. Clear blue water streaming by you and it feels like as if you have been rejuvenated!

You will know you have reach the plateau when suddenly you are surrounded by marshland. A bright golden field complimented by the bright blue sky (at least in autumn it is a golden field!) with mountain as the background. Such beauty!

There is an alternative route which you can choose to head to Odashirogahara Marshland which is a slightly smaller marshland (which i hope to have the opportunity to go back and try this alternative route). The hike will probably take you around 3 hours to complete but there are benches along the way for you to have a break. So just take your time and enjoy this wonderful hike!
