Shibuya Crossing

Possibly Tokyo's biggest attraction, the Shibuya crossing needs little to no introduction. Today, I'd like to share a tip with all visitors to Japan.

At its busiest, this pulsating intersection sees more than 3,000 people crossing at the same time but this is not always the case. There are times when the crossing sees little human traffic so if you'd like to see it in its full glory, my recommendation is to visit on weekday nights, or after 3pm on weekends.

Some of the best shots are from an elevated view, so try getting to a window of one of the stores overlooking the crossing. No easy feat but if you manage to do so, capturing the ‘scramble’ at its peak makes for a great photo. Go ahead, give it a shot!
