Shirakawa-go

I love this UNESCO Heritage site not just for its charming traditional farmhouses but the whole village because it is so beautiful.

The minute I stepped foot on the bridge, I was already thrilled by the scenic surroundings.

As it was autumn, there's vibrant colours.

A friend who had visited the village years ago in fact will be visiting again during winter this year. Such was the charm that draw visitors for repeated visit.
