Shorenin Temple

When in Kyoto, I always visit this temple. It is always very quite compared to other Kyoto sights. So maybe I shouldn't mention it here :-). The gardens are very pretty, especially during autumn foliage. You can just sit in the main hall on the Tatami mats, enjoy the view and feel like being back in ancient Japan. A very special experience I can highly recommend
