Tanize no Tsuribashi

It is a suspension bridge in Totsukawa, the largest village of Japan in the southernmost part of Nara Prefecture Tanize no Tsuribashi , famous for its length, is a iron wire suspension bridge. It's located in the north of the village . At 297 meters, it’s one of Japan’s longest iron suspension bridges, and has become an iconic landmark in Totsukawa for tourists and locals.

First built so that villagers could easily get across a valley in Totsukawa, the bridge has amazing views. The bridge is especially romantic between 5:00pm and 8:00pm when it’s lit up. Do you need any other reason to hold your loved one’s hand as you cross it? Remember, happiness will follow.

奈良県の最南端にある日本で一番大きく広い村「十津川」にある吊り橋。日本有数の長さを誇る鉄線の吊り橋で有名な「谷瀬の吊り橋」が、村の北部にあります。今では十津川村を代表する観光名所になった「谷瀬の吊り橋」はもともと生活用のための吊り橋としてかけられました。夜(17~20時)には、ライトアップられるので、ロマンティックな夜を過ごすことができます。この吊り橋を渡ったカップルは、うまくいくといった噂があります。
