Did you know that Toyota didn't start off as an automobile company but a textile manufacturer? Just imagine that! Well, at the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology in Nagoya, you can learn all about the history of Toyota.

This museum is very informative and a great destination for families, with entrance fees at just 500 yen. Learn how car parts are made, in processes like pressing and drilling. Check out replicas from the past ... you can even have a hands-on session making a car part with your children!

There are daily tours in English (500 yen), but you have to reserve your spot. To avoid disappointment, I suggest you book the tour in advance so you and your family can have a fun-filled learning experience! If you can't get on a tour, I highly recommend you still visit the museum.

世界に誇るトヨタ自動車の秘密はここ、「トヨタ産業技術記念館」に隠されています!
現在に至るまでのトヨタの歴史をレプリカの展示品とともに見て学ぶ事ができます。
英語でのツアーガイドも実施しているので、日本語が話せなくでも安心ですね。
入場料は500円程度。

実は、トヨタは最初自動車の会社ではなく、紡織機の会社だったって知ってましたか?
これらの歴史に触れながら、実際にトヨタの自動車を作る際に使われるプレスや
穴あけなどのパーツを作る技術を見ることが出来ます。

さらに、そこで出来たパーツを使ってプルバックカーや、ストラップを作ることが出来るので
子供が喜ぶこと間違いなし。子供連れの家族に、イチオシな観光地です!
