Yunishigawa Onsen

A great one night escape from the hustle and bustle of tokyo city, it's totally worth the journey. Heavenly place that was surrounded by white snowy mountains with rivers and streams flow through the area. Such a beautiful and serene view that I would never forget for a lifetime.

I enjoyed the privilege of travelling during the non peak season and probably because of its remote location too.. I could be the only foreigner around as I didn't see any throughout my stay. My travel period was during the last week of January, when the kamakura festival was just begun (it's usually held from late of Jan to early March every year). Hundreds of different sizes of kamakuras were built and illuminated in the evening. It was really breathtaking~!

Last but not least, something that you shouldn't miss~ a very unique onsen experience during winter - especially at an open air bath when the snow ❄️ falls onto your head while your body is soaking inside the onsen bath with the temperature of 40 degree celcius. I personally think that onsen is best to enjoy during winter time ☺️~

It was a total relaxation and the state of tranquility.. I wish i'll be back there again~ ☃️. #PerfectSoloGetaway #SoulSearching ❄️ & #Wanderlusting.
